New York Knicks star forward, Carmelo Anthony, and his latest signature sneaker with the Jordan Melo M12, is finally revealed, which succeeds the current M11 that debuted last year.
With the new silhouette flaunting a predominantly Black tone, the model essentially pays tribute to “the dungeon,” a recreation center in Baltimore that served as a safe haven for Carmelo during his childhood. Reflecting as a journey to perfecting his skills and ongoing evolution, the shoe’s construction inherits a lightweight, flexible form that ensures better ankle lockdown and comfort.
Additionally, the model flaunts a breathable mesh upper, asymmetrical webbing loops, a pared-down heel and ankle design that offers maximum support. Other notable details include four foam pads placed in the interior, two Zoom Air units, articulated flex grooves on the midsole and FightSpeed technology which delivers an explosive first step.
You can find this first pair of the Jordan Melo M12 at JB stockists starting January 2 for $160. Additional colorways of the silhouette is expected to arrive throughout Spring 2016.
