Jordan Brand has come together with Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, to create the first-ever Jordan Women’s collaboration.
When Anna Wintour gives her approval for editorial or creative, she simply writes “AWOK,” which stands for “Anna Wintour Okay.” The Vogue editor-in-chief teamed up with Jordan Brand to put this approval stamp on two iconic silhouettes for the ultimate co-sign, the Air Jordan 1 High Zip and the Air Jordan 3.
This highly anticipated Air Jordan 3 that as designed exclusively form women is inspired by Anna Wintour's signature suits and sunglasses and features tweed as the primary upper material, and a back heel with the AWOK moniker. This pair comes done in University Red and Black all throughout the tweed upper. Contrasting Sail is then seen on the Jumpman on the tongue, eyelets, the AWOK branding on the heel, and the rubber outsole. Co-branded insoles finish off the look.
