Converse and Tyler, The Creator’s GLF 2.0 returns this Fall with a minimalist, all-white take on the collaboration’s newest silhouette. Initially debuted in June, the GLF 2.0 is a culmination of the Converse x GOLF le FLEUR* collaboration’s five-year journey. Evolving from the original all-suede GLF design, the silhouette blends an old-school, court aesthetic with contemporary construction. The all-white colorway of the shoe swaps canvas for leather, lending a premium touch.
Scalloping and fluid lines, which have become a signature of Converse x GOLF le FLEUR* collaborations, are on display as a nod to the Gianno. A vivid outsole calls back to unique elements from past Tyler, The Creator releases, while vintage references—including a remixed Converse logo license plate—lend a nostalgic touch. The Tyler, the Creator x Converse GLF 2.0 incorporates signature GOLF le FLEUR* hues but trades the flower motif found on the original design for triple-white color blocking. There’s also a nod to the skate style that has helped define much of this partnership’s past, as the silhouette borrows its shape from the Pro Leather. Finally, a lightweight CX liner and cup sole construction deliver all-day comfort.
