PUMA and New York sneaker boutique RISE have come together to create a collaboration that is meant to inspire and raise awareness all around the world.
The RISE x PUMA Blaze of Glory New York Is For Lovers is meant to raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS infection which affects thousands of people every day. At only ten years old RISE Co-Founder Chase Ceparano lost his father to the disease in 1994. Now he along with PUMA air aiming to raise awareness about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and also want to inspire those who are living with it every day. This PUMA Blaze of Glory is done in a bright red hue with “NYIFL” on one lace dubrae and the AIDS ribbon on the other. Other details include special embossed insoles, and heart cut-outs on the heel with reflective 3M detailing underneath. PUMA and RISE will also be donating $15,000 out of their own pocket to the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amFAR).
You can purchase the RISE x PUMA Blaze of Glory New York Is For Lovers when it releases on Tuesday, December 1st – World AIDS Day – at a pop-up location in NYC. The sneakers will go on sale at 8PM EST on a first come first serve basis and remaining pairs will be available via RISE45.com as of 12:01AM EST on Wednesday, December 2nd. Retail price has been set at $145 and the sizes available will be men’s 5 to 12 US & 13 US.
