Reebok Question Mid - Dress Code

Not only was Allen Iverson a unique player on the court, but he also made a statement with his personality and style bringing hip hop fashion into the NBA. Baggy clothes, jewelry, hats, braids, tattoos, all things that AI was and is known for. By the year 2005, the NBA and the commissioner had had enough and decided to enforce a new dress code that banned players from wearing items like jerseys, jeans, caps, do-rags, large jewelry, sneakers, and boots when arriving and departing games as well as on the sidelines.

Inspired by this “dress code” rule, this upcoming colorway of the Reebok Question Mid takes cues from Iverson’s wardrobe and includes denim (to represent his baggy jeans), a tan nubuck toe (to represent his Timbs) and a variety of other materials and colors inspired by his style. Finishing touches include “banned” logos on the heel and gum outsoles.
