NikeLab Roshe Cortez SP - Forrest Gump

Nike is presenting us with the NikeLab Roshe Cortez. It’s basically a Nike Cortez upper sitting in top of a Roshe Run midsole. This particular colorway comes in white leather with red hits found on the Nike Swoosh. This color combination is recognizable due to its use on the movie, Forrest Gump. While the upper part of the shoe, looks almost exactly like the OG Nike Cortez, the bottom part of the shoe is actually the Nike Rshe Run outer sole, thus creating the NikeLab Roshe Cortez. Nike’s vision behind this shoe was to find a way to create a balance between old and new aesthetics and put it on one single shoe.
