About one year ago, Nike introduced Flyleather. Flyleather is a type of leather that is more sustainable, five times stronger, and 40 percent lighter than traditional leather. The brand uses a hydro process that combines recycled leather and synthetic fibers to create Flyleather, which it says is comparable to the real thing.
That new type of leather is now being used on the classic Nike Cortez. In addition to the new leather vibes, the Nike Cortez Flyleather features 100% recycled lining, laces and labeling. The first colorway set to release has the model dressed in a White and Light Silver finish.
