Nike SB Dunk Low VX1000 Camcorder
516The Nike SB Dunk Low “VX1000 Camcorder” is another notable SB release and it’s aesthetic derives from the handheld VX1000 camcorder which the skating community utilized while filming their sessions back in the early ’90s.
Essentially replicating the color scheme of the Sony DCR-VX1000 camcorder via a grey and black finish, the camcorder element is further evidenced via the words “PEAK,” “REC LEVEL,” “WHT BAL,” and “SHUTTER SPEED” prominent on the black rear overlays to reflect the settings. Additionally, “CONTROL” is embedded onto the Swoosh followed by “PLAYER” on the quarter panel. Finally, red and yellow top eyelets invokes the record buttons, while mint leather heels, a white midsole and smokey translucent outsole round out the design.
