Nike Free Connect

Although the USWNT has been eliminated from medal contention in the Olympics, this latest Nike Free Connect is inspired by soccer star, Alex Morgan.

A slip-on training shoe that is ideal for cardio, group fitness and circuits, the sleek design is punctuated by a pink strap, which is actually one of Morgan’s favorite colors. It also symbolizes the pink headband she wears in every game for her mother-in-law who had breast cancer. Juxtaposed nicely against a clean, white/grey makeup, the tongue lining logo has US National Team logo + #100 because Alex has played in more than 100 games for the national team. In addition, the horseshoe on its insoles is for her nickname, “Baby Horse” which her teammates gave her because of her tireless running and speed on the pitch.
