The special Cortez Shoe Dog Pack pays homage to the brand’s history and its founders, Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman. The Cortez made its debut in 1972, and was the first official Nike shoe to release. This pack will include three different iterations of the Nike Cortez model dubbed the Nike Cortez ’72 S.D., Nike Cortez ’72 S.D. “Dimension Six” and Nike Cortez ’72 S.D. “Peregrine”. Each pair highlighted with alternate logos on the sides dressed in a mix of White, Varsity Red, and Game Royal. The Nike Cortez ’72 S.D. features Carolyn Davidson’s original slim Swoosh. The Nike Cortez ’72 S.D. “Dimension Six” and Nike Cortez ’72 S.D. “Peregrine” come equipped with the Dimension Six and Peregrine Falcon logos. FYI, the Dimension Six and Peregrine Falcon names were the two other names considered by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman to name the company (Nike). Each pair features a white leather upper with slimmer construction and build that nods to the original Cortez design.
