Nike Air VaporMax Plus Swingman
636Part of the “Swingman Collection” is the Nike Air VaporMax Plus. This new colorway of the Nike Air VaporMax Plus draws inspiration from Griffey’s “Spider-Man” catch which took place on May 25, 1991 when Griffey robbed Ruben Sierra of extra bases.
This VaporMax Plus starts off with a Black and White neoprene construction on the upper with the signature plastic overlays on the side panels done in Black. More black then hits the laces, tongue, toe, inner liner, heel and the midsole. To break up the black and white look we see red stitching on the collar and teal accents on the midsole, tongue, and heel pull tab. A spider graphic on the insoles, Griffey’s number “24” on the heel pull tabs, a translucent VaporMax sole unit, and a Gold home base hang tag with Griffey’s “Swingman” logo wrap things up.
