Nike Air VaporMax 2021 M. Frank Rudy

This special iteration of the Nike Air VaporMax 2021 pays tribute to Marion Franklin Rudy aka Frank Rudy, the engineer who created Nike’s Air technology, which forever changed the footwear business. In 1978, Nike released the first shoe using Rudy’s “Air” technology, the Air Tailwind. In 1980, he was able to patent the technology furthering the “Revolution.”

The Nike Air VaporMax 2021 M. Frank Rudy features a White knitted upper that is highlighted by the Yellow contrasting accents and the special details that include the blueprint insoles displaying the technology artwork with his signature, his iconic California “Nike Air” license plate hangtags, EST. 2021 printed on the lateral Air unit, and his name printed on the laces tips. The sneaker will also come with a VaporMax sole unit with Grind Rubber underneath.
