The Nike Air Max 90 Doernbecher is another exclusive pair as part of the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle XVIII Collection and this variation has been designed by 15-year-old Emerson Harrell. Diagnosed with an inflammatory bowel disease, Emerson’s iteration of the sneaker is inspired by his dream of becoming an investor and feature money graphics on the Swoosh. Officially draped in “Valor Blue/White-Wolf Grey-University Red,” the runner also bears the phrase “Bear Down” which is a shout-out to Emerson’s beloved Arizona Wildcats, as well as a rally cry for all of life’s challenges.
