The New Balance Kawhi “Christmas” is a special iteration of Kawhi Leonard’s signature basketball sneaker. Sporting a “Blue Chill/Virual Sky” color scheme, the colors derive from Leonard’s favorite mythical beast, the Snow Wasset — a winter creature which originated with North American pioneer oral traditions. The wintry theme throughout is completed with a logo of the creature’s claw gripping a basketball on the tongue to replace Leonard’s Klaw motif, while icy blue translucent outsoles top off the style.
