Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik
132Japanese brand Mountain Research and Reebok have teamed up to give us a very special collaborative iterations of the Reebok Beatnik. Slate to be the third release between both parties, the Setsumasa Kobayashi, founder of Mountain Research, worked with the Reebok team to apply his careful craftsmanship and love of the outdoors to the cult-followed Beatnik silhouette.
The Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik is a premium iteration of the model highlighted by its leather upper that is then decorated by the embroidered artwork on the midfoot that gives off a softer, at-home look. The newly constructed upper is paired up with a molded foam footbed for added comfort, rubberized outsole for added traction and adjustable strap at the midfoot to allow the wearer to better brave the rugged outdoors.
