A model that pays tribute to Michael Jordan and Spike Lee‘s long-standing relationship since the early ’90s, the Air Jordan Spizike “Oreo” is the latest iteration of the hybrid model, following its recent “Taz” variant.
Amongst the most popular of Jordan hybrids, by blending a mixture of elements from the Air Jordan 3,4,5,6,9, and 20 – particularly the Air Jordan 3’s elephant print, the 4’s wings and sidepanel mesh, the overall silhouette and eyelets of the 5, the lace locks and tongue from the 6, the 9 for the back tab, and the 20’s lasered graphics in the sockliner – the sneaker’s upper is essentially dipped in Black with speckles of Cool Grey throughout.
Resting atop a White/Cool Grey rubber sole unit to coordinate with its “Oreo” palette, final details include a lace lock, Cool Grey heel pull tabs and Spizike branding on the rear.
The Air Jordan Spizike “Oreo” is scheduled to arrive at Jordan Brand stockists on May 20th for $175.
