It may be a bit of an obscure piece of skateboarding legacy but the Fila Original Fitness was a favorite among the most hip LA and New York skateboarders of the early 90s. The sneaker had the perfect height, fantastic traction and featured Fila’s renowned step-in comfort making it a slept on skating option. DGK and Fila teamed up to bring the kick back to the skate park with two new releases. A black with teal and magenta accents pair, or a more classic Fila cream/navy/red look. Both pairs come ready to ride with the gum sole accent skaters love so much. It should be noted though, these are both done in pig skin suede so they are just as tempting as a casual shoe. Do you, but do not feel obligated to skate and destroy pig skin suede. Graphic insoles and duel branding on the tongue complete the look which is set to release with some special packaging as well.
You can look for these to appear May 1st.
