colette x Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour

In honor of professional tennis player Maria Sharapova and the upcoming 2015 French Open, NikeLab and Parisian boutique colette have joined together to reinterpret the Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour.

Initially making its debut in 2012, this special colette x Nike Zoom Vapor 9 is detailed with the French retailer’s signature Blue colorway. Boasting White as its complementary hue across its entire upper, hits of Blue in an ombre-like finish are applied throughout to encapsulate the theme, as well as creating an aesthetically pleasing palette overall. Additionally, a number of subtle design nods to Sharapova are evidenced with Maria Sharapova’s logo on the back tab of the left shoe and five symbols on the midsole to honor her five major championships. The sockliner also features text inspired by her quote, “I am not the next anyone, I am the first Maria Sharapova.” Most likely limited to women’s sizing only, the colette x Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour is slated to release at select Nike retailers beginning May 21st.
