Dropping October 24th, the Air Jordan 8 “Three Time’s A Charm” is one of the several Jordan 8’s set to release during these holidays. Releasing for the first time ever, this Air Jordan 8 actually has a theme to it. It’s a pretty dope concept too.
We all know Jordan went on to win 6 NBA Championships, and they actually came in two sets of three-peats (It probably would have been 8 in a row hadn’t he left to play minor league baseball for a few years). This Air Jordan 8 is set to pay “homage” to the first trio of teams that fell victim to Jordan’s legacy. Coming in a white and black based upper, the shoe is highlighted by accents of Bright Concord, Infrared 23 and Gold that are meant to resemble the Blazers, Lakers and Suns. Another new addition to the version of the shoe, comes in the way of a brand new tongue branding. The tongue now has an Infrared-toned Jumpman that sits in front of a gold colored ball and hoop, which probably symbolizes the championships that Jordan was able to win during that span of three years. Are you feeling the theme and look of the shoe?
