Finally, what probably most of you were waiting for, the release of the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost. The first to drop will be the Grey/Black-White colorway that was revealed during the Kanye West x adidas Originals Yeezy Season 1 collection. At first glance, the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost takes aesthetic cues from the popular Nike Roshe Run, and upon closer inspection, the low-top sneaker inherits a unique lightweight knitted upper that intertwines Grey and Black threads to create a distinct pattern across its entirety (just like the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run).
Interestingly, the upper flaunts a one piece construction, evidenced by the laces intersecting across its tongue to perhaps ensure total freedom of maneuverability for the foot. In addition, a stitching is split down its center, which is symbolic of Kanye’s affinity of folksy aesthetics (or his admiration for visvim). Further detailed by a heel tab and matching rope style laces, the model is topped off by adidas’ signature Boost sole unit in White to round out its simplistic colorway and profile.
