312This special iteration of the Air Force 1 is a collaboration between Nike and the A Ma Maniére retailer. A Ma Maniére founder James Whitner dubbed the A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 collab “Hand Wash Cold” as a way to represent taking care of your community the same way one treats luxury goods.
“The shoe tells a story of giving and giving back,” Whitner told Nike. “Everything luxury should be taken care of, and lives in communities are delicate.”
The A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Hand Wash Cold is given a luxurious makeover consisting of a soft tumbled leather and suede wrap on the midsole. Both versions are also said to be individually numbered for transparency and collectability.
